| Adult Ed Lobbies the Board on Tenure

On Tuesday, October 13, Adult Ed teachers again appeared before the School Board to protest the lack of job security or career advancement occasioned by DACE's opposition to tenure status for teachers.
Board members and Superintendent Ray Cortines heard from a number of adult ed teachers, including complaints about the Byzantine non-tenuer process devised by DACE. Board members were attentive, and we beleive our message is getting through.
